Someone asks under your post. They get the answer in private.

How a comment campaign works

1. Pick the trigger: a comment on one post, or on any post on the channel.
2. Write the keywords to watch for. Require any of them or all of them, and add words that rule a comment out.
3. Write the public reply that goes under the comment, and the private message that goes to its author, each with its own delay.
4. Add a button or a link. On Facebook the link can wait behind a follow-up button that only sends it when the person taps.

Only the person who commented

The private message goes to exactly one person: the one who wrote the comment. Meta's Private Replies API allows one private reply per comment, within seven days of it, and dmswift sends at most that. A campaign can also be limited to once per person, to first-level comments, to a daily cap, and to the hours you choose.

Let your agent build it

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or your WhatsApp agent: "see my latest video? create a comment campaign for it". Over MCP it calls list_live_posts, create_campaign with that post's id, and test_campaign_match with a sample comment before it tells you the campaign is live.

Limits worth knowing

• Instagram private messages cap at 1,000 characters and carry no button, so the link is sent inside the text.
• Comments in Facebook Groups cannot be answered privately; dmswift works on Pages and Instagram professional accounts.
• Some people cannot receive messages at all. Every attempt and every failure is logged with its reason.
