Who we are
dmswift is a platform that lets Facebook Page owners ("customers") connect their own Pages to automate replies to comments. Customers configure keywords and messages for their own Pages; dmswift runs the automation on their behalf.
Data we collect
When someone comments on a customer's connected Page, dmswift stores:
- The comment ID.
- The commenter's public profile name and profile ID, as provided by the Meta platform.
- The text of the comment.
This data is used to send the commenter exactly one private reply and to show the customer their activity log. We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or any other sensitive information about commenters.
Meta access tokens
To operate a customer's Page, dmswift holds a Meta Page access token authorized by that customer. The token is used only to act on the Page as instructed by its owner (for example, posting replies and sending private messages) and is never used on any Page without its owner's authorization.
How we use data
Data is used solely to operate the automatic-reply feature for the Page it was collected on, and to display that Page's activity log to its owner. We do not sell, share, or transfer data to third parties.
Storage & security
Data is stored on a secured server (TLS encryption in transit). Access to a customer's dashboard is restricted to that customer.
Data retention & deletion
Data is deleted:
- Within 7 days of a request (see our data deletion page).
- Automatically when a customer disconnects a Page.
- Automatically when a customer deletes their account.
We also honor Meta's data-deletion callback automatically when a user removes dmswift via their Facebook settings.
