# dmswift

> Run your Facebook Page and Instagram from your AI agent - plus a customer inbox on Meta's official APIs that only replies to people who wrote to you first.

dmswift is a web application and an MCP server for businesses on Facebook and Instagram. An owner talks to their own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Cursor, n8n, or an agent they message on WhatsApp) and the agent publishes and schedules posts, starts comment-to-DM campaigns, moderates comments, reads insights and answers the inbox through dmswift. The same work can be done by hand in the web dashboard.

Key facts:
- Channels: Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts (business or creator), through Meta's official APIs. Instagram connects directly with Instagram Login (no Facebook Page needed), or through a linked Facebook Page with Facebook Login. Facebook Groups and personal Instagram accounts are not supported. WhatsApp, TikTok and other networks are not managed channels.
- "Talk to your agent on WhatsApp": the owner messages an AI agent on WhatsApp (for example Poke, Instinct, OpenClaw, NanoClaw, or Meta's Muse through the dmswift API) and that agent runs the Page and Instagram through dmswift. WhatsApp is only where the owner talks to the agent; dmswift does not read or send WhatsApp messages itself. Meta AI (the assistant built into WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook) cannot add custom tools, so it cannot connect.
- Private messages only go to people who wrote first (a comment or a message), inside Meta's 24-hour window. Follow-ups to recent conversations go only to people who opted in or wrote first, stay inside that window, and are not available to agents.

- Agent safety: per-connection daily caps (default 15 publishes, 30 comments, 100 messages), scopes per key, and an optional "ask me before anything is published" approval mode.
- Pricing is in US dollars and metered by what is sent, never by contacts. Agent actions are write calls made by API/MCP keys; reads are free. 7-day Pro trial with no card, once per business; there is no free plan, and when the trial ends the account is paused (automations stop; sign-in, viewing and export keep working) until a plan is chosen. 14-day money-back on any charge. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and bills monthly or annually (annual = two months free).
- What the limits count: a private message is one dmswift sends automatically (a campaign reply, a broadcast or sequence message, a growth-link greeting, an Instagram mention reply), never a reply a person types in the inbox and never the message sent when someone taps a button; campaigns count every saved campaign, active or paused, across all channels; posts count what dmswift publishes on Facebook or Instagram in the month (drafts, uploads and scheduling are unlimited); follow-up broadcasts count each broadcast started or scheduled in the month (a draft costs nothing); AI replies are not included on Starter; team seats are the people invited besides the owner.
